Can I bring food?
To keep the focus on the wines and ensure an enjoyable tasting experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that no outside food be brought into the tasting room.
Do you have food available onsite?
Yes we offer sourdough flatbread crackers to complement your Laurel Glen wine tasting experience.
Can I bring my infant or kid?
Children are welcome, and we kindly ask that they remain seated with their parents as a courtesy to all guests. For the comfort of everyone, we also require that headphones be used with all portable devices.
Are dogs allowed?
We welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs. Please keep them close as a courtesy to fellow guests in our intimate tasting room.
What is your large group policy?

Do you accept walk-ins?
We do our best to accommodate walk-ins; a quick call or text ensures availability.
How long does a typical tasting experience last?
A standard Laurel Glen tasting experience lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Yes there are paved roads and parking behind and alongside the building.

Do you allow limos or tour buses?
Yes, within our pre-paid group tasting guidelines.
Can I share a tasting flights?
Tasting flights are not designed for sharing, as each pour is one ounce per wine.
What makes Laurel Glen unique?
We produce certified organic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Laurel Glen Clone grown on Sonoma Mountain, with a focus on structure, age ability, and site expression.
Are tasting fees waived with wine purchase or club signup?
Yes tasting fees can be waived with a purchase of 3 bottles or with a new club signup (two tastings waived per couple).
Do you have outdoor seating or picnic areas?
No we do not offer outdoor seating or picnic areas.
Do you ship wine to my state?
We ship where permitted; please inquire about your specific state.
Can we visit the vineyard?

Yes our Glen Ellen tasting room is open year-round.

Where do tastings take place?
All tasting experiences are seated and take place in our Glen Ellen tasting room. Walk-ins are accommodated when possible, and appointments are always recommended. Please call or text us to check same-day availability.
Do you offer tastings in Spanish?
Yes – please contact us ahead of time to ensure a Spanish speaking host!
How much sugar is in a glass of wine?
Laurel Glen Blanc Slate Sauvignon Blanc contains 1.8 g/L = 0.266 g/5 oz glass (0.067 teaspoon/glass.)
Is wine high in sugar?
No, compared to other beverages, wine is very low in sugar. For example, a skinny margarita contains 2.0 to 2.5 teaspoons of sugar compared to less than a tenth of teaspoon in a 5 oz. glass of wine.
Do wineries add sugar to wine?
No. In California, wineries are not allowed to add sugar to wine.
Does wine have more or less sugar than cocktails?
It depends on the cocktail, but with less than a tenth of a teaspoon of sugar per glass, wine is virtually sugar free.
Is wine lower in sugar than beer, soda, or juice?
Even a lite beer contains a gram of sugar, while a 5 ounce glass of our Sauvignon Blanc contains just a quarter of a gram of sugar. A glass of orange juice, by contrast, contains 20 to 25 grams of sugar!
If wine tastes sweet, does it have as much sugar as sweet cocktails or mixed drinks?
No, even dry wines, with virtually no sugar, can have a sweet taste, but that sweetness is fruit flavor influenced by fermentation. A glass of our Estate Cabernet contains just 0.059 grams of sugar. A Mai Tai? 32 grams!
